La crisis económica y los ciclos económicos

Esta tarde hemos tenido el placer de discutir con D. Jesús Huerta de Soto acerca de la actual recesión económica y sobre los ciclos económicos.
Mientras se prepara el acta de la sesión, compartir algunas frases que hemos escuchado hoy y que no han dejado indiferentes a ninguno de los que asistimos:
” Tenemos poca memoria histórica, las crisis económicas nos afectan desde hace 200 años y siempre siguen pautas similares.
“El ciclo expansivo anterior a la recesión ha tenido como principal peculiaridad que ha sido el más largo de la historia, 15 años, debido a la entrada en la economía de consumo de China y de India, y aunque asimismo hubo un toque de atención en Septiembre del 2001, éste fue anulado por razones políticas por las instituciones”
“La recesión no es fruto de un fallo de mercado, sino de un erróneo diseño institucional sobre todo de los bancos centrales”
“La recesión es la recuperación”
